Style Guide

Note: The Mizzou Style Guide is undergoing a significant update to improve clarity and consistency. During this time, entries may be added, revised or removed. After the update is complete, the guide will be maintained and updated as needed.

Mizzou has a story to tell. Now it’s time to tell it as one cohesive message — no matter the audience, no matter the storyteller, no matter the setting.

The University of Missouri uses the AP Style Guide, with some exceptions. If you do not see an entry on the Mizzou guide, defer to AP style.
