Buck’s Ice Cream is part of the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. It opened in 1989 thanks to an endowment from MU alumni Wendell and Ruth Arbuckle. Behind the cheery storefront is an integrated research, teaching and service-oriented laboratory where food science students learn everything about ice cream from maintenance and inventory to manufacturing and retail.
