Use commencement over graduation. Lowercase in all instances, even when followed by the semester. Ex: She is planning to attend Spring 2026 commencement.
Mizzou celebrates spring commencement in May and winter commencement in December. Graduate and professional programs also include hooding ceremonies as part of commencement.
