Walter Williams established the world’s first journalism school in 1908 in Columbia. Today, some of the best journalists in the world have learned their profession through the Missouri Method, which provides practical hands-on training in real-world news media and strategic communication agencies. The school is home to the Missouri News Network, MOJO Ad and AdZou. Note: The official name of the emphasis in strategic communication uses communication in the singular.
