Use Residence on Francis Quadrangle on first reference. Residence or Residence on the Quad is acceptable on second reference. 

Do not use chancellor’s residence. 

Built in 1867, the Residence on Francis Quadrangle is the oldest building on campus and has served as home to many MU presidents and chancellors.

Example: The president spoke at an event at the Residence on Francis Quadrangle.
