Use Tiger Walk when referring to the back-to-school event for first-year students. Established in 1995, Tiger Walk takes place each August on the Francis Quadrangle. Incoming students walk through the Columns toward Jesse Hall to symbolically mark their entrance into Mizzou. Students also enjoy Tiger Stripe ice cream from Buck’s Ice Cream Place in Eckles Hall and music by Marching Mizzou.
